Thank you for installing Delivery Date Range in your Shopify store! You can use this guide as a walkthrough of the app and its functions.

The first step in creating your estimated delivery date range is to configure the basics of the app.

1. Initial Setup

DDR is working! - Need to temporarily turn your date ranges off? Simply click on this to turn it off (please note that this will turn off ALL date ranges that are currently setup). To turn the ranges back on, just click on this again.

Show on cart page - This will allow you to show the delivery range on your cart page. See below:

Show phrase for each product on cart page -
This feature is helpful if you have products with multiple delivery date ranges. Instead of showing just one standard date range like above, the phrase will show for each individual product in the cart.

Language - Select the language you would like the dates to be shown in. Please note that you will still type the rest of the phrase in your selected language. We already have many languages available, but it we don't have the one you are looking for, please don't hesitate to contact us and we'll try to get it added!

Date Format -  Select the format to be shown for dates on the phrase.

Timer Countdown format - This awesome feature creates a sense of urgency. Select the countdown format you would like to use.

2. Create Date Range

Phrase -  Input any text you want to personalize it to your specific store.

Individual non-delivery days -  Clicking on this field will show a calendar. Simply click on any specific days that customers will not receive their orders. This is typically used for holidays or any other special events.

Minimum days -  Enter the earliest number of days a customer may receive their order. For example: if you have a two-day processing time before the order ships and the earliest delivery time based on the carrier is three days, then you would want your "Minimum days" set to 5 (2 days for processing + 3 days for fastest delivery).

Maximum days - Enter the latest number of days a customer can expect to receive their order. For example: if you have a two-day processing time before the order ships and the latest delivery time based on the carrier is seven days, then you would want your "Maximum days" set to 9 (2 days for processing + 7 days for fastest delivery). Helpful tip: Although you don't want to make your shopper think it may take forever to receive their order; It is generally better to advertise a possible longer delivery period and they receive their order earlier than expected than to advertise a shorter period and they receive their order "late".

PLEASE NOTE: The Minimum and Maximum days count ONLY business/delivery days. If you select Saturday and/or Sunday as non-business/delivery days, the date range in the phrase will reflect this and update the date range accordingly. Likewise, this does the same if you select a specific "Individual non-delivery day".

Cut-off time -  Select the local time the shopper must place their order for the delivery dates shown to be effective. By default, this time is based on the time set in your store. This is the time that correlates to the countdown timer.

Non-business days - Select either Saturday and/or Sunday to indicate that these are non-delivery days for your selected carrier(s). As mentioned above, the app will take this selection into account when determining the date range based on the "Minimum days" and "Maximum days".

For - Select "All Products" if you want the phrase and date range to show on ALL products in your store. Otherwise you can select "Specific Products" to only show the phrase on certain items in your store. There is also an option to only show the phrase on products that are currently out of stock.

Collection, tag, vendor, or type - Simply input the collection, tag, vendor, or product type of any specific product(s) you would like to show the phrase on. Please note: this can only be done if the previous selection is "Specific Products".
